At the other end of the spectrum, cattle with poor weight for age, non-quality assured, overage stock or those with a lot of movements were a harder sell.
Overall, Friesian bullocks sold from €200 to €450 with their weight. Beef-cross bullocks sold from €300 to €650 with their weight.

Heifers
Heifer numbers were small, with over 20 on offer, but prices were improved on recent heifer sales. They made from €250 up to €600 over the €/kg.

There was 220 calves on offer this week. Friesian bull calves made from €60 to €210, with runners selling for up to €320. Hereford and Angus bulls made from €220 to €430 for younger calves, with runners selling up to €575. Angus and Hereford heifer calves sold from €190 to €360. Continental bull calves sold from €260 up to €460 with runners sold from €590 up to €855.
Cows
Cows continue to come out with a large selection of parlour cows on Monday. Dry cows made from €180 under up to €335 over the €/kg. However, younger cows sold well on the day.
