There was 80 bullocks on offer – lighter stores made up most of what was on offer.
Angus and Hereford cross bullocks in the main made between €1.95/kg and €2.20/kg with continentals crosses from the dairy herd making an extra 10c/kg to 15c/kg.
Friesians were scarce and sold from €1.60/kg to €1.70/kg. Forward bullocks were also thin on the ground with the few lots available selling well.

Heifers
Heifers were in short supply but there was a very strong demand for what was on offer especially forward stores.
Overall they made between €275 and €590 with their weight.

These March 2015-born heifers weighed 544kg and sold for €1,110 (€2.04/kg).
Cows
There was 33 cows available with well-fleshed Friesian cows making up the majority of what was on offer.
There remains a very steady trade for these type of cows with most of what was on offer selling for between €250 and €400 with their weight.
