Ireland’s cycling community is coming together on 20 August to support GOAL’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal. The Pedal West for Ukraine challenge aims to help raise life-saving funds for people affected by the conflict, which is in its fourth month.
Cyclists will enjoy 75km of the finest costal routes on the Wild Atlantic Way, beginning at Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre in Tralee and traveling through Camp and Annascaul on the Dingle Peninsula to Inch Beach and Castlemaine.
Registration is essential and costs €40 at the early bird rate, increasing after 8 July.
Visit goalglobal.org/pedalwestforukraine/ for more information and to sign up.
A ‘no helmet, no cycle’ rule will be in place, as well as a ban on earphones and tri bars.
After you cross the finish line, there will be a presentation area for some pictures and well-earned food and refreshments with the talented ‘SuperCéilí’ entertaining the crowd with their blend of Irish music.
