A directory for anyone working with Irish grown wool is being collated and will be published and launched at the European Wool Day 2026 conference taking place on 28 March in Tralee, Co Kerry.
The almanac is being published by Future Island-Island (an AHRC funded Green Transition Ecosystem project) in partnership with the Irish Grown Wool Council.
The deadline for submissions is Monday 16 February 2026 and submissions are being invited from all relevant parties including shearers, handlers, mills, spinners, dyers, designers, educators, community groups, retailers, researchers and more. Submissions can be submitted via any of the following links.
