Kubota will debut its latest compact wheel-loader and telehandler models at the National Ploughing Championships. Both the KTH4815-2 compact telehandler and RT220-2e electric compact pivot steer will feature alongside the brands extensive range of groundcare equipment, compact tractors, RTVs, as well as M6 and M7 tractor models.
The KTH telehandlers were first launched across the water at Lamma Show in January, namely the flagship KTH4815-2. The model numbering of the KTH4815-2 is indicative of its lifting ability, capable of a maximum reach of 4.8m and a lift capacity of 1.5t.
Powering the loader is a 50hp Kubota three-cylinder engine and Rexroth hydrostatic transmission. Meanwhile, hydraulic performance extends to 81l/min.
The compact offering has an overall width of 1.6m and an overall height just under 2m.
RT220-2e
Another new offering is the electric battery-powered RT compact pivot steer range. On display will be the larger RT220-2e model. A 6.5kW electric motor has been fitted to the rear axle to power all four wheels. Travels speeds can be set to 0-5km/h, 0-12km/h or 0-20km/h.
The loader’s maximum straight tipping load for the RT220-2e is 2,054kg to a maximum height of 2.82m (hinge pin height).
A more powerful 12kW electric motor operates the hydraulic system. Both motors are powered via a 260Ah lithium-ion battery. Kubota offers two larger battery pack options, 390Ah and 520Ah.
Depending on the battery option, run times range from two to eight hours.
Another eye-catching addition to the stand will be the M7-173 ‘custom’ tractor with grey wheel rims and all the bells and whistles.
These include 710 tyres, a leather-trimmed seat, Apple CarPlay and a stainless steel mirror guard, just to mention a handful of extras available.
