The next episode of Inside Dairy, the new dairy-related podcast from the Irish Farmers Journal dairy team, is out now.
On this week’s show, we chat with large animal vet Caroline Farrell about hard calvings, E coli scour in calves and calf deformities.
Daire interviews Teagasc researcher Michael O'Donovan about getting spring grazing back on track.
We also discuss the science of farming - knowing where to put up the wire when splitting a paddock.
Hosted by Aidan Brennan and Daire Cregg, the podcast is a deep dive into all things dairy from cows and grass to markets, policy, people and everything in between.
For less than the price of one kilo of milk solids per month, dairy farmers and those working in the industry can keep up to date on all of the latest new, views, advice and industry matters affecting the sector.
