Price quotes on red diesel have eased by 0.5p to 1p/l from early August with the vast majority of quotes now under the 70p/l mark.

Quotes issued mid-week for a delivery of 2,250 litres are in the region of 67p to 69p/l, excluding VAT and similar to the range of prices issued back in May.

Prices are running around 10p/l below quotes for red diesel last August. Current quotes for DERV are in the region of 111p to 112p/l, ex VAT, down 1p to 2p/l from early August.
