Factories have reduced base quotes for today (Thursday) by 10c/kg. This leaves base quotes ranging from €4.80/kg to €4.95/kg in export-orientated plants with general prices paid ranging from €4.95/kg to €5.05/kg.

Last week’s kill increased by 9,387 head to 61,623 and is likely to increase again ahead of the Eid al-Adha festival with peak throughput for the festival reaching 70,000 head for the last two years.
