Kicking off their 2026 auction season this week – Quinn Property get underway with a busy week of southeast land auctions scheduled for the end of February.

First up is a 44ac non-residential holding close to Avoca, Co Wicklow. All in one block, the majority of the land at Knockanree is in grass and the free-draining soil is excellent quality, making the holding ideally suited to grassland or tillage.

Close to the road there is a 1ac corner that contains a 50-year-old forestry plantation. Although a non-residential holding there is a three-span shed with a lean-to and an adjoining yard that could prove useful to its future owners. It also has some road frontage on to a local road that meets the R754 at nearby Avoca. This land is guided at €15,000/ac.

That will kick off a busy week of auctions in the southeast for the Carnew and Gorey-based auctioneers. The following day, Wednesday 25 February, they will auction off a nice pair of small holdings in Co Wexford.

First up at midday is a 6.3ac holding at Camolin Park, Camolin with a 5.6ac parcel of land at Ballineroad, Oulart selling at 2pm. Both will sell via online auction.

They round out the week with a 20.9ac non-residential property at Rosdellig, Borris, Co Carlow.

The 20ac holding at Rosdellig, Borris, Co. Carlow sells at auction at the end of February.

Listed for online auction at 12pm on Friday 27 February, the roadside holding is in one block with 11.9ac in Lot 1 and 9.1ac in Lot 2.

With excellent road frontage and a natural water course which runs all along the northern boundary, the land is in grass and is generally of good quality.

There is a small yard where there was formerly a dwelling house. This could offer potential for a future site, although this would be subject to the relevant planning permissions.

Close to the village of Rathanna, this holding is situated just over 6km from Borris, and it’s guided in the region of €9,000/ac to €10,000/ac.
