Kerry Dairy Ireland increases base milk price for March
Dairy markets have softened in recent weeks, with pressure on butter and skim milk powder partly offset by more resilient whey markets, a KDI spokesperson said.

Kerry Dairy Ireland has increased its base milk price by 2.87c/l, excluding VAT, for March milk supplies.
The milk price for March supplies is 35.88c/l, excluding VAT, including quality and sustainability bonuses.
“Dairy markets have softened in recent weeks, with pressure on butter and skim milk powder partly offset by more resilient whey markets,” a KDI spokesperson said.

“Globally, milk supply remains strong, while steady demand outside China continues to be moderated by weaker Chinese import activity.”
Tirlán and Lakeland have also increased the base milk price for March supplies in recent days.
