DEAR SIR: I read Jack Kennedy’s article in last week’s Irish Farmers Journal on the future of the ICBF.
I just want to bring to your attention that Dr Brian Wickham is not a “New Zealander”. He went to New Zealand a few years ago on placement as part of his agricultural degree, which does not classify him as a New Zealander, as he was born and bred in Co Wexford.
I was in New Zealand myself for seven years as an Irish resident – maybe I should say I am a New Zealander as well?
