Mercedes Benz has launched a new GLE Coupé as a new SUV design that further expands the growing Mercedes-Benz model range. The new GLE Coupé claims to have a sporty appeal helped by its very all-road, off-road characteristics. Prices will start at €86,455, before delivery charges for the 350d.

Standard features include ILS Intelligent Light System, Active Parking Assist, leather trim and upholstery, satellite navigation, metallic paint, heated front seats and mirror pack, to name but some.

Mercedes Benz will be putting special emphasis on its ‘Dynamic Select’ handling control technology, with its activity on view on a central media dashboard display. Other features include ADS variable damping, ESP, Agility Control, Airmatic Suspension, Collision Prevention Assist and ECO Stop/Start.

Models include a 3.0 litre, V6 turbo-powered GLE350d diesel that pumps out 258bhp output and a massive 620Nm of torque. The 0-100km/hr acceleration is seven seconds and Mercedes Benz is claiming a fuel economy figure of 7.6l/100km (37mpg), which seems impressive. What is equally impressive is the 3.5 tonne towing rating as well as large load space.
