Grow with Aldi

New year, new dreams. If you are planning on growing your business this year, then Aldi is looking for business innovators to join its Grow with Aldi programme.

Whether you are an artisan cheese supplier, adventurous chilli chocolate connoisseur or innovative baker, this supplier development programme helps small- to medium-sized businesses to build their brand.

Now in its fifth year, the mentor scheme is undertaken in conjunction with Bord Bia.

To apply, put it your application and then present your business to a judging panel in February.

Those selected will have their product launched in all 149 Aldi stores nationwide in May as part of the Grow with Aldi Specialbuy promotion.

Then up to six winners are chosen and are offered further opportunities with Aldi.

This will include mentoring and development through a number of workshops, such as buying process, supply chain management and social media marketing, followed by a number of individual mentoring sessions with the Aldi buying team, the Aldi marketing team and Bord Bia technical experts.

To register or find out more about the Grow with Aldi programme 2022, visit, but don’t delay, as the closing date for entries is 21 January 2022.

Want to make your healthy breakfast even healthier?

Linwoods Health Food Blends has a range of seeds, nuts and berries which can be added to porridge, yoghurts and breads to make healthy foods even more nutritious.

Starting 50 years ago as a small local shop run by the Woods family in Northern Ireland, Linwoods grew into a bakery and dairy business run by John Woods.

In 1996, John discovered the nutritional powerhouse that is the milled flaxseed and realised he could make healthy eating convenient and accessible.

We have a lovely porridge recipe below, perfect for cold January mornings. And to encourage consumers to make a good start better, Linwoods is offering a free starter pack for consumers who register on and share their breakfast recipes tagging @LinwoodsHealthFoods and using the #MakeBreakfastBetter. Prizes include Nutribullets, air-fryers and a kitchen aid.
