Earlier this week, Hidromek appointed Kelly’s of Borris as importer and distributor of its equipment range in the Republic of Ireland. Kelly’s are dealers for brands such as Claas, JCB and Horsch.

The Turkish company has been producing construction equipment since 1978 and has a wide product range consisting of backhoe loaders, wheeled loading shovels along with both tracked and wheeled excavators.

The Kelly’s stand at the Ploughing had a variety of tracked excavators on show, ranging from the 15t HMK 140LC up to the 32t HMK 300LC tracked excavator as well as a backhoe loader. The modern-looking range is equipped with well-proven components.

The HMK 140LC is one of the models best suited to Irish farmers and agricultural contractors. Like its larger counterparts, it is fitted with an Isuzu engine.

This Stage III B four-cylinder powerplant churns out 100hp. At the heart of the machine are two Kawasaki axial piston hydraulic pumps producing a flow of 130l/min each.

Electrics are supplied by Bosch Rexroth while the machine’s undercarriage is manufactured in house by Hidromek.
