European Commissioner for Agriculture Phil Hogan received high praise for his work on behalf of EU food exports recently. Nine export trade associations commended Commissioner Hogan for going the extra mile to open new markets for European products. The Kilkenny man travelled 55,000 miles on 10 high-level missions in 2017. Presumably he got his flight home for Christmas courtesy of his frequent flyer points.
