Quinn Auctioneers held an unreserved machinery auction on Friday 20 September on the behalf of the recently deceased Henry Levingston (executor sale) on his estate in Bolinahaney, Bunclody, Co Wexford.
Around 175 lots were up for sale, of which 100 were machinery and tools, with the remainder miscellaneous items.
100% clearance rate
Trade was very strong at the auction, with all 175 lots selling for a 100% clearance rate.
An example of the lots that were on offer include tractors, mowers, cultivation implements, a telescopic loader and a combine harvester.
All items sold were subject to 5% commission and VAT at 23% was charged on the commission.

This Abbey 2090 manure sidespreader, ideal for farmers spreading their own farmyard manure, made €2,300.
One bidder bought this Krone KR130 round baler, ideal for a small-scale farmer, for €2,400.
