The ink on the €100m Beef Exceptional Aid Measure (BEAM) is not dry yet, with the Department of Agriculture still listening to farm organisations on the scheme.

A spokesperson for Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed told the Irish Farmers Journal that all feedback is being considered regarding the terms and conditions of the scheme.

“All feedback is being analysed and various different scenarios are being looked at,” the spokesperson said.
