Tommy Brennan launch
The RDS Library could hardly hold the throngs that turned out for the launch of Tommy Brennan’s exhibition and book last Thursday. The exhibition itself is a pure triumph for librarian and curator Gerard Whelan. It is in place from now until the middle of September and should not be missed. After that, part of it will travel to shows around the country.
As for the book, Tommy, A Pictorial Memour of Tommy Brennan, launched by Leo Powell of The Irish Field, it was very well received and almost sold out on the night. The remaining copies will be on sale on various stands during the Horse Show. It sells for €20 and all proceeds will go towards young rider and course builder bursaries.
