A sad farewell to Connemara stallion I Love You Melody. Bred by Hubert Laurent in France then imported and loved for 23 years by Jimmy Canavan of Fernville Stud, I Love You Melody passed away on Sunday evening as Jimmy led him in from the paddock. ‘Mel’ as he was known at home was an outstanding sire of jumping Connemara ponies with 111 progeny registered with SJI, 18 of which are Grade A.
