The new mid-range units have been fitted with larger engines while still retaining similar dimensions to the M40 models.

The new models feature more powerful four-cylinder 3.3-litre turbo-charged diesel engines. The M6060 is available in Rops and Cab variations and features a 63.5hp engine. The M7060 is only available with a Cab and has a more powerful 71hp engine.

Both models feature an eco-drive function that allows for lower rpms in high gears and limits the top speed to 39.9km/h.

Kubota claims that this not only creates lower cabin noise but also provides better efficiency and improved fuel consumption.

The M60 Series tractors are equipped with an hydraulic shuttle to give clutchless directional changes. They are 40kph tractors and have a creep speed as standard.

The Work Cruise function maintains consistent engine rpm control with a push of a button regardless of the load or pto work. The tractors have an electro-hydraulically operated 4WD. Hydraulic wet type disc brakes are fitted across the range. They are fitted with a front limited slip system and a rear hydraulic differential to maintain traction and Kubota claims that its bevel gear front axle gives tight turns and good manoeuvrability

The Kubota M6060 and M7060 also feature an improved cab design which, the compnay claims, allows for easier, more practical operator engagement, including new touch controls. The seating position and design has been improved, according to Kubota.
