Kuhn showcased a number of updates to their 1060 conditioner mower series. These central or side drawbar mowers will now be known as the 1061 series.
This range of mowers now has cutting widths from 2.7m to 4.4m.
Taking an initial look at the mowers, the styling along the central drawbar has been updated to a more modern look.
Kuhn has added flexible side guards to help prevent damage during contact with any obstacles.
It’s now also possible to raise and lower these side guards hydraulically from the cab.
The new mower series allows the driver to temporarily change the cutting height while on the move, in order to allow them to adapt to very varied situations.
The cutter bar centre distance is different between the converging and diverging discs.
As a result, this leaves an increased space at the cross-over area of converging discs providing for more room for cut grass to move towards the conditioners.
