At this year’s National Ploughing Championships, Kverneland Group Ireland will present a number of innovations from its range of brands including Kverneland, McConnel, ROC and Siloking.

Within the Kverneland harvest range, the firm will showcase the latest 5387 MT butterfly mower. Available with or without the BX swarther belts, the 5378 MT has been introduced to sit below the flagship 53100 MT, offering a cutting width of 8.75m.

Many of the features including the QuattroLink race car suspension and the NonStop BreakAway system have been carried over from the flagship model. Underneath the canopy of each mower is a 3.2m eight-disc bed and a SemiSwing steel tine conditioner. Two control options are available, manual controls or the optional Dual Lift Control joystick.

The updated range of Qualidisc disc harrows will be on display.

Also in the harvest department, the ROC RT 880 merger will make its Ploughing debut having been showcased at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show this summer.

Moving into the tillage department, the stand will feature the 3300 S Variomat range of mounted ploughs. The 3300 S benefits from features which have been carried over the iplough. These features include the aero profile leg, centrally adjusted skimmers and a new design of auto-reset leaf spring system and the Trailer Transport Solution (TTS).

The ROC RT880 will make its first Irish Ploughing appearance.

Also set to be showcased is the 6m U-drill and a 5m version of the new generation Qualidisc disc harrow. Ranging from 3m to 7m, the Kverneland Qualidiscs Farmer and Pro models have seen the disc section arrangement adjusted to improve the penetration, ensuring completing cutting of the soil.

Other Kverneland machines will include the Fastbale, and the mounted A12 sprayer.
