I read The Dealer article in the Irish Farmers Journal of 7 August 2021 on the IFA’s outsourcing solution with dismay.
It is the role of rules chair Martin Stapleton and his committee to deal with this potential breach of rules by IFA hill chair Flor McCarthy. If he feels he cannot deal with this “storm in a teacup”, I believe he should consider his position.

I would also ask the chief executive, Damian McDonald, is the outsourcing of this issue a prudent use of farmers’ money and how much will it cost?
