The Silvercut Disc 1500 T, built by Slovenian company SIP, which claims to be the world’s widest combination disc mowing outfit will be making its Irish debut at the FTMTA show.

The monster mowing unit has a cutting width of 14.55m (48ft) across its five 3.25m cutter beds.

The five separate cutting units, four rear and one front, are equipped with hydropneumatic suspension.

The machine weighs in at 9,100kg and requires at least 350hp to operate, despite being a non-conditioner mower. The 1500T folds to 2.99m for transport and measures 7.50m in length.

Also included in the Farmec display will be the SIP Spider tedders, Star rakes and the SIP Air merger with a working width of nine meters.

Sulky

The Sulky display will include fertiliser spreader models including the top-of-the-range X40+ and X50+ models, which are fully loaded with technology and offer spreading widths up to 50m and application rates of up to 520kg/minute.

The new Sulky Progress one-pass drill features three hoppers, which can sow three different products at three different rates at the same time.

The Cultiline range of power harrows features a three-year warranty on high-tensile steel gear troughs and gearboxes, rotors mounted on conical bearings and a host of feature to ensure a long service life.

MX loaders

Models from the MX loader range will include the U and T Series loaders with a large range of brackets and loaders to suit 45 different tractor makes from 15hp compact tractors up to the giant Model TX Series suitable for tractors up to 400hp.

MX also has commercial agreements for the supply of OEM loaders to Claas, Kubota, Iseki France and, most recently, Case IH.
