Gardaí in west Dublin seized a pickup truck transporting bales stacked on top of each other with just one strap going over the top of the load, according to a picture they shared on Thursday.
DMR West Roads Policing stopped this vehicle with an unsecured load. Driver arrested for driving while disqualified and vehicle seized. Driver baled to appear in court! pic.twitter.com/nHJ7le4EA3
Earlier this week, members of the force pulled over a tractor and trailer in Co Kilkenny. This time, wrapped silage bales appeared on the trailer without any safety device securing them to the flat-bed trailer.
Gardaí also highlighted the poor condition of the trailer's tyres.
