British self-propelled sprayer manufacturer Bateman, has revised its entire range of RB sprayers.

Dubbed the biggest update in 25 years, the new range encompasses several updates from front to back, including running gear tweaks and up-rated suspension and axles.

Twin clean water tanks have been better integrated across the range to help lower the centre of gravity, while the in-house-built steel booms now allow 25cm nozzle spacing.

One of the more notable updates from an operator point of view is the control layout and dynamic joystick. There are three switchable field modes and road mode – easily distinguished via the colour-changing LED backlights.

There are four new models in total, with 3,000 (RB30), 4,000 (RB40), 5,000 (RB50) and 6,000 (RB60) litre tank capacities, among which there are different transmission options. The RB60 is a brand-new flagship model and a machine size which now fills a void that was previously in the range. All the latest nozzle technology is offered, including the Capstan PWM nozzle CapMod which allows variable rate control at each individual nozzle.
