Irish Komatsu importer and distributor McHale Plant Sales is returning once again to the National Ploughing Championships with an array of exhibits to service all customer types within the agricultural, construction and forestry sectors.

At the larger end of the scale, the company will present the Komatsu WA320-8 wheel loader tailored specifically for the agricultural market. The WA320-8 is fitted with a 6.69l six-cylinder Komatsu engine, churning out 170hp.

This is married with an in-house design hydrostatic transmission with four speed ranges.

It weighs just over 16t, has a maximum lift capacity of 11,500kg and a closed centre load sensing hydraulic pump with a 180l/min output.

The Prinoth Raptor 100 remote-controlled mulcher will make a second appearance at the Ploughing.

McHale Plant will also exhibit the Komatsu PC138USLC-11 tight tail excavator. It weighs 15.6t and is equipped with a 97.2hp Komatsu engine.

The closed centre piston-type pump produces 242l/min.

A range of mini and midi diggers will be on display alongside other utility equipment, including the following models: PC16MR-3, PC26MR-5, PC55MR-5 and PC80MR-5. The SK715 and SK820 Komatsu skid steer models will also be present.

In terms of other kit, McHale Plant will showcase the Prinoth brand for just the second time at the event.

It will showcase the Panther T14R tracked dumper with rotating slew and the Raptor 100 remote-controlled mulcher, complete with a heavy-duty mulching head.

The Raptor 100 is fitted with a 75hp Deutz engine, coupled with a hydrostatic transmission capable of 6km/h. Both track units are fitted with 30cm wide rubber tracks as standard.

Track width is adjustable from 120cm to 160cm for stability purposes, and the ground clearance is 32cm. A rear winch system is available for enhanced safety on slopes.

The mulching head is powered via a 34cc axial piston pump.
