Kubota is being represented at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show by its dealer FJS Plant and there will be a selection of tractors on display, including M5, M6 and M7 models.

Kubota’s recent collaboration with Topcon Positioning Ireland has opened up a host of possibilities for auto-steer options across all Kubota tractors. This includes a variety of Topcon kits to suit steer-ready and non-steer ready tractors, plus lightbar guidance options for RTVs and compact tractors.

The latest Kubota M6001 Utility series offers five models from 104hp to 143hp. The short wheel-base models comprise the M6-101U and M6-111U, which use a 3.8-litre Kubota V3800 four-cylinder engine, producing maximum power of 104hp and 111hp, respectively. With a 2.54m wheelbase, these two models offer maximum torque figures of 346Nm and 379Nm.

The M6-121U, M6-131U and M6-141U sit on a longer 2.68m wheelbase and use Kubota’s 6.1-litre V6108 four-cylinder engine as found in the M6002 and M7003 tractor series. Power outputs are 123hp, 133hp and 143hp.

While initially the range-topping M6-141 Utility model was equipped with front-axle suspension, the suspended front axle can now be factory-fitted to the other four lesser-powered models as an extra cost option, improving ride quality and operator comfort.

Further versatility for all M6001 Utility tractors is the addition of a front linkage and front PTO package.

The linkage comprises a 2.8t lift capacity. Across the series, a 40kph semi-powershift transmission is used, which provides eight powershifts in three mechanical ranges to create a 24x24 gearbox. The option of a creeper range increases the choice of ratios to 32x32.

A fixed displacement open centre hydraulic system provides 71 and 77 litres/min of oil flow respectively for short- and long-wheelbase models.

It features electronic linkage control with a 5t lift capacity on short wheelbase models and 6.1t for long wheelbase tractors.
