Trelleborg has expanded its TM800 tractor tyre range with the arrival of two new sizes.

With its double lug thread design, the TM800 has proven a popular choice among Irish farmers and contractors.

Already available in 540/65R28 and 650/65R38 sizes for tractors within the medium- to high-power category, the TM800 progressive traction range has now benefited by the arrival of the 480/65R28 and 600/65R38 sizes.

Meanwhile, additional sizes are expected to arrive in the coming months.

Trelleborg claims that its distinctive double-edge lug improves grip on the soil by boosting traction and reducing slippage. Meanwhile, an extra lug acts as an additional terrace on the tread profile, improving its self-cleaning capability.

Additionally, the wider base of the Progressive Traction lugs is said to provide greater resistance to vibrations and improve wear.
