A man in his 70s has died following an incident on a farm in Co Cork on Wednesday morning (3 June).
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene on the farm in Coonmanore, Bantry. It is understood the man was injured while using a quad.
A Garda spokesperson said: “At approximately 10am 3 June, Gardaí received reports a male in his 70’s had been discovered with serious injuries. The male has been pronounced deceased and remains at the scene.”

Garda enquiries are ongoing and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is also investigating.
It brings to the number of people killed on Irish farms in 2020 to 10.
