Mustang have been building skid-steers since 1965 and continued to do so right up until the company was purchased by Gehl. Gehl was then later purchased by Manitou in 2008.

For now, the only difference between the Gehl skid steer and the Manitou machines will be the colour scheme.
The model numbers will be the same and they will remain mechanically unchanged.
In total, across the wheeled and tracked skid-steers range, Manitou will offer 16 different models.
The machine unveiled was a 2700v. This particular model is powered by a Yanmar engine that churns out 70.7hp.
It has a lift capacity of 1.225t and a lift height of 3.31m.
