The new TrailVBib claims many benefits over Michelins existing CargoXBib tyres.

The all new Michelin TrailXBib tyre has been designed for trailer, slurry tanker and spreader use as its name suggests. The tyre incorporates the latest very high flexion (VF) technology while retaining a robust casing and deep thread for a long working life.
Michelin says that the new thread pattern and wider inter-lugs of TrailXBib leaves great self-cleaning capabilities. In addition, the new strong central rib is said to improve road handling and sees an improvement in lifespan over the existing CargoXbib range.
The TrailXBib has been designed to carry more load than the same dimension CargoXBib HD or HF tyre at a reduced pressure. Michelin say that this pressure reduction reduces stress on the trailers structure and therefore reduces mechanical strain and wear.

Two sizes are available from July, 560/60 R22.5 and 650/55 R26.5.
The new TrailXBib tyre is set to be available from next month, initially coming in two sizes. The sizes available at the launch include the VF 560/60 R22.5 and VF 650/55 R26.5, with more sizes expected to arrive in 2021.
These new tyres are fully compatible with central tyre inflation systems (CTIS), meaning they can run at the optimal pressure for the exact application and ground conditions.
