Ulster Wool has renewed its partnership with the Young Farmers’ Club of Ulster (YFCU) to offer subsidised shearing and wool-handling training to members across Northern Ireland.
Now in its eighth year, the scheme provides a 50% discount on machine or blade shearing and wool-handling courses, supporting members at all skill levels.
Ulster Wool delivers two-day shearing and one-day wool-handling courses nationwide, focusing on technique, animal welfare and equipment safety.
