John and Stephen Redmond of the Knockhill flock achieved both the highest and second highest prices at the South East Stars annual in-lamb sale in Tullow Mart, on Tuesday 30 December. Headlining the sale and achieving the highest price for the Redmonds was Knockhill Irresistible by Drumcon His Royal Highness who broke the Irish ewe lamb record when she sold for a remarkable €8,600.
A daughter of Knockhill Fair Lady, this standout lamb was purchased by Ciara and Martin Walsh from Co Mayo.
Irresistible is a full sister to the first-prize ram at the 2025 Blessington Premier Sale and a maternal sister to the 2024 Premier Sale Champion.
