The Moree Holsteins dispersal sale takes place on the Kelso farm on Friday 10 May.

The Moree pedigree Holstein herd, owned by the Kelso family, is holding a dispersal sale on 10 May on the farm at Rock, Dungannon, Co Tyrone, starting at 11.30am.
Conducted by Taaffe Auctions, the sale will include 180 cows in-milk, plus five elite calves, three bulls and four embryo lots. The Kelso family has operated a pedigree herd for over 30 years.
In 2019, it was included on a list of 18 herds across the UK to receive a Master Breeder award from Holstein UK, in recognition of the high standard in both classification and production within the herd. Current herd average stands at 10,800kg, 4.01% butterfat, 3.30% protein on three times-a-day milking.

The sale should be of interest to pedigree breeders and commercial farmers across Ireland.
All stock sold to the Republic of Ireland will be delivered free of charge to as far as Limerick, with several designated drop of points en-route.
