Caitríona Morrissey has been appointed news editor of the Irish Farmers Journal. From a dairy and tillage farm in Ardfinnan, Co Tipperary, Caitríona has a B.Agr.Sc from UCD and is a former winner of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists “The Bull” award.
Amy Forde has been appointed deputy news editor. From Annaghdown, Co Galway, she holds an MA in Journalism and Media Communications.
Also in the new year, Stephen Connolly, a native of Coolderry, Co Offaly, joins the livestock team to help farmers make their farms more profitable.
