I see that Billy Cotter, from Castletownroche, (pictured) has been elected chairman of the powerhouse that is North Cork IFA. He was voted in unopposed at the county’s recent AGM in Mallow.

Billy takes over from Mary Twomey-Casey, who has completed her four-year term in the position.

He farms in tillage and cattle with his brother Bernard and was the North Cork IFA grain chairman for the last number of years.
