As you may have seen on page 9, Tesco has a new range of budget brand foods. The brands include Boswell Farms for beef, Woodside Farms for pork, bacon and sausages, and Redmere Farms for vegetables – none of which are real farms. The new branding covers 76 lines in total across the store.
Tesco has said: “The products are sourced from a selection of farms and growers.”
Probably just to confirm that none of the names are real farms.

The Dealer wonders if any of the farms will become eligible for a farm inspection, or the Basic Payment Scheme, for that matter.
