I see KPMG Ireland’s long standing head of food and agribusiness, David Meagher, will retire at the end of April this year.
The Tipperary native is a well-known figure in the Irish agri-food sector, having worked as KPMG’s head of agribusiness since 2012. Meagher has also been an integral part of delivering the annual KPMG/Irish Farmers Journal milk price review, which compares the average milk prices paid by Irish co-ops on a like-for-like basis every year.
Tom McEvoy, a partner in KPMG Ireland, will take over from Meagher as the firm’s new head of food and agribusiness from May.
