A Donegal sheep farmer has had his hands full over the last while, as two of his ewes both had sextuplets within a week recently.
Peter McGee from Ballintra delivered all of the lambs himself. The 12 lambs were bottle fed every two hours for four days, moving them to three and four-hour intervals, making it a day and night operation. The lambs are out of two five-year-old Cheviot ewes put to a Texel ram.
