Two-legged fox
A group of farmers lambing this week informed me of a ‘two-legged fox’ active in their area.
I was unsure what was being referred to at first, but as it was explained a little further I learned that there is, presently, quite a good trade for pet lambs, with lambs selling from €20 to €30 a head.

Similar to the theft of scrap metal, it seems there is always someone looking to make a quick euro.
The Dealer is advising all farmers to question or report any suspicious behaviour and for those purchasing pet lambs to be wary if you think lambs are being traded from an unusual source.
