Palatine Engineering, based in Askeaton, Co Limerick, is a manufacturer of grassland equipment. The firm is set to showcase its latest range addition, to aid with seedbed preparation.
The front linkage-mounted ripper has 13 tines as standard, contributing to an overall working width of 2.9m. Each of the tines is fitted with twin tips, which loosen/rip the soil, with the optional addition of levelling paddles.
Tine angle is adjustable through 70° for varying ground conditions, done using a ratchet-type design.

For road transport the ripper remains under 3m, coming with reflectors and marker lighting as standard.
Two depth-control wheels (23/8.50 R12) are fitted as close to the centre as possible for ease of turning into gateways, while working depth is controlled by adjustable turnbuckle length.
The ripper weighs 530kg and is built to suit category-two linkage.
Palatine Engineering will also have its GH range of grass harrows on display.
