A significant farm with 135ac of land in north Tipperary will be sold at public auction early next month.

Listed with Nenagh based auctioneer, REA Dillon, the farm has a guide price of €1.25m. Situated 8km from Portumna and 12km from Borrisokane, it will be offered in lots and as an entire.

Lot 1 is the largest of the three lots and extends to 103.4ac. It is described by auctioneer Eoin Dillon as a combination of very good ground, forestry and some that would be regarded as summer grazing.

It is serviced by a number of farm roadways and would be ideal for dairying. Facilities include three loading and feeding pens and a mains water supply. It comes with a guide of €750,000 (€7,250/ac).

Comprising of 15.2ac, Lot 2 is a section of good quality land that has a small yard which includes a four-column slatted shed and a cattle crush. This parcel has a guide of €200,000 (€16,400/ac).

Finally, Lot 3 consists of 16.6ac and is made up of top grazing land with a mains water supply and is guided at €250,000 (€15,000/ac).

The auction takes place at 3pm in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Wednesday, 2 October and will also be hosted on the LSL online platform.
