Studying agricultural science at UCD

Following on from this, on Thursday 29 April at 7pm, the university will host a separate information session targeted at those interested in applying for the school's agricultural science or agriculture courses in September 2021.

This virtual event is suitable for all aspiring students, including those who may be interested in the new crop science degree programme at UCD.

This online session will provide an overview of the 14 entry routes available to students, as well as course entry requirements, career opportunities and subject choices.

Staff members will also deliver material on the study abroad and professional work experience elements of each course, both of which are consistently rated as educational highlights by UCD’s past students.

Current students will discuss their experience of studying at the UCD school of agriculture and food science and the event will finish up with a live Q&A session, which will allow participants the time to interact with the UCD team and better understand the breakdown of the school.

Both events are free and open to all, although registration in advance is required.

UCD welcomes all prospective students, parents, guidance counsellors and agricultural science teachers to log on to either of this week’s events.

Register for either event online here.
