Sean Coffey, who is from Co Tipperary, was head of sales at the Kepak group for the last 10 years. Before that, according to his Linkedin profile, he was sales and marketing director at Ashbury Confectionery Ltd.
Kepak’s former chief of its meat division, Kevin Cahill, is off to pastures new as head of OSI Europe. A major supplier to McDonald’s worldwide, OSI is one of the largest privately-held food processing companies in the world. The company’s global headquarters is located in Chicago, USA, with a global network that includes more than 60 facilities in 16 countries. OSI Europe headquarters is based in Germany.
The other appointment being made at Kepak this week is Tom Finn, who is the new beef business unit director. Finn has worked in various roles at Kepak since 2002 including general manager, country manager in Italy and KMD Business Development Manager.
