The new tanker range called Pantera offers a more basic lower-specification design and options list in comparison with its original SlurryKat tankers that have a much higher spec as standard.
SlurryKat CEO Garth Cairns commented: “The vision behind the new Pantera range is to offer the market a more affordable tanker with less specification, while still maintaining vital reputable build quality and reliability.”
Garth also confirmed that “The new tanker shares many components from the Premium tanker range, such as the Jurop Vacuum pumps, axles, wheels and valves”.
The Pantera is built on the same production line as the Premium tanker range, ensuring quality across the board.
The Pantera range comes as standard pre-shot-blasted and finished in high gloss two-pack black paint to give a long durable protection against corrosion and is also available in the company’s flagship colours of red and green if desired.
The internal anti-surge baffle system is fully internally welded similar to the Premium SlurryKat tankers.
SlurryKat have commented that sales orders and feedback on pre-production Pantera models have been very strong from customers and the range is now in full production at the company’s manufacturing facility in Waringstown, Co Armagh.
Models available range from 1,600 to 2,750 gallons on a single axle and 2,500 to 3,500 gallons on tandem axles.
