Tirlán has confirmed to the Irish Farmers Journal that it has appointed Ailish Byrne as its new director of agribusiness.
Byrne will join Tirlán having previously worked as head of agriculture in Ulster Bank, having stayed with the bank for 20 years.
“Ailish joins our business at an exciting time and will drive development of the agribusiness strategy and business plan,” the co-op told the Irish Farmers Journal.
