The new spring cereal recommended lists from the Department of Agriculture contain two new provisionally recommended barley and wheat varieties.
The new spring barley varieties are Paustian and Shada with relative yield ratings of 101 and 104 respectively.
The two new spring wheat varieties are RGT Doubleshot and Quintus, with yield ratings of 107 and 109 respectively. Sparrow and Trappe are the other two recommended varieties.

Cropton has been discontinued on the feed barley list and both KWS Irina and Sanette are now fully recommended. KWS Irina has been added to the new malting barley list. Granary has been discontinued on the spring wheat list.
There are no new spring oats varieties recommended and Circle has been discontinued.
