The majority of calves are now on the Thrive Programme farms at this stage. While every year will throw up a new issue or problem, there are some common things that occur year on year that can be managed and minimised if there is a good plan in place.
In this week’s Thrive video, I take a look at the importance of bedding, ventilation and draft exclusion, bloat in calves, the issue of navel sucking and getting calves introduced to meal feeding.
