A 55.8ac island on the Wild Atlantic Way tourist trail has arrived on the market. Duvillaun Beg Island, Belmullet, Co Mayo, is situated 2.4km from the mainland and is accessible by boat from Blacksod Pier. The name Duvillaun Beg means 'little black island', but it is in fact a green island with fantastic views of the west coast of Ireland. The island is one of a cluster of Duvillaun islands nestled south of the islands of Inishkea and was inhabited until the end of the 19th century.
